Elisabetta Bovina and Carlo Pastore trained at Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche in Faenza and founded ELICA Studio in 1990. They have not set themselves any disciplinary boundaries. Turin in 2011 and dedicated to the excellence of the artistic crafts in Italy today. Their artifacts are both self-produced and designed for other brands.
In 2022 they are honored with the MAM, Master of Art and Craft Award by Cologni Foundation for Art Crafts. They choose to use porcelain because the whiteness of this noble material is like the whiteness of notebook paper: so many pages on which to write new stories again and again.
